An orphaned sparrow is adopted and raised by storks. When the family leaves on its annual migration, the little sparrow attempts to participate in the long, arduous journey.
A group of storks adopt Richard, an orphaned sparrow, who starts believing he is one of them. When the storks prepare for migration, Richard participates in what is a difficult journey ahead of him.
